How is class represented in Shameless?

Class is represented in a very stereotypical way in this clip from Shameless. The characters are obviously lower class. The main character doesn’t care about how he looks, this is obvious because his clothes are very messy and are hanging off him. His hair is long and looks dirty; he has facial hair that just looks like he couldn’t be bothered to shave. There is a teenage girl who is just sitting with her dressing gown on with a baby on her knee. She hasn’t bothered to get ready showing that she might not have anywhere to go like school or college and if she does, she isn’t bothering to go. It looks like she is a teenage mother. The house inside looks dark and messy and outside it looks like a council house. All of these things are what comes to mind when people think about the lower class making the clip very stereotypical. Towards the end of the clip, a man comes and he is dressed in a suit. This contrasts with the other characters.
